Message	It had really nasty stuff in the bottom of it... It works great, but doesn't have any attachments. We hacked together some old hoses, but to buy a proper rug beater attachment would have cost more than just buying a new upright, so no house vac system. But there are these cool holes in the wall throughout the house that you can drop trash in. :-) Seems a little backwards that the woman is buying the vacuum for the guy's birthday... Enjoy it! You're right, that would make a great shop vac.
